Welcome Back

We are so excited to start the new school year. Our theme this year is A Year of Play. We hope to inspire you all to make room in your lives for playing, especially free play. We will be planning activities to help facilitate playing in the classroom, at home with your family, and out at the park with friends. We also have festivals, games, and other fun events planned! Our First Play Event is Friday, August 23 6-8pm

Our first event we have planned is Friday, August 23, at Churchill Estates Park and Tennis/Pickle Ball Courts from 6-8pm. We will gather, rehearse singing the National Anthem, then play! There are two playgrounds, areas to play among the trees, volleyball, tennis, and pickle ball courts. Bring any balls or sports equipment you’d like! We will provide play some play and sports equipment, too!

We’re singing The National Anthem at the Missions Baseball Game

Join us for a fun night at the Ball Park. We will perform The National Anthem on the field before the game starts, and sit together in the stands to enjoy the rest of the game. Click here to purchase tickets.

Jazz’SAlive Festival

Join us for an evening of jazz at the newly remodeled Civic Park Downtown San Antonio. The Festival is free and takes place Friday and Saturday, September 27-28.  We will have more details about the specific times we will be going to the festival soon.  This is part of our effort to provide opportunities for kids to get together to play freely, while everyone can enjoy the jazz music and fun festival atmosphere.

Glee Club Starting in September

After a successful summer camp of singing and dancing, we are going to continue offering musical theater class this school year. We will be calling it Glee Club. To join, students must love to sing and want to act and dance, and be in at least JXC 2 or above. 

Glee Club will be meeting on Wednesdays at 6:30 starting in September. The tuition for the class is $50 for students already enrolled in regular group class, and $90 for students who are not enrolled in group classes (JXC, JAC, etc.).
