Sounds Like KPAC Entries

We are so proud to have our students submit their performance videos in the “Sounds Like KPAC Talent Competition”.  This is the first year the local public classical music station KPAC 88.3 is hosting this competition.  All students residing in San Antonio between ages 13-19 were encouraged to listen to the music station and make a recording or visual art piece of what they think would belong on the station.  They might record a piano solo by a famous composer, record an ensemble of them and their friends playing a fun piece, or record a composition of their own.

A few of our advanced students submitted their performances inspired by the music on the radio station and here’s a playlist of their performances.  There are two ensembles, two original compositions, and a piano solo by Debussy.
